Who We Are

Protowerks is a full service prop and model building company located in central Indiana. Building props and models since 1995 for film, theater and collectors, Protowerks has continuealy strived towards the highest standards possible in production and reproduction of props and models.

What We Have Done

Mainly specializing in replication of props seen on the big screen, we have built pieces like R2-D2 from Star Wars, Captain Kirk's command chair from the Original Star Trek Series, to the small fertility idol from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Projects Currently on the bench include:

• Ark of the Covenant from Raiders
• Robot from the 60's television show Lost in Space
• KITT from the 80's television show Knight Rider
• and preproduction on the Tardis from Dr. Who

Building these pieces are our passion. If you can imagine it, we can build. Our team has over 50 years of combined experiance in prop building.
